Executive vice president of TravelClick, Jonathan Cherins is a seasoned marketing professional with more than 20 years experience in marketing and sales in a variety of sectors. A keen thinker and exceptional strategist, Cherins keeps up to date with the latest trends in the realm of digital marketing. He leverages this knowledge and his experience to bolster the position that TravelClick holds in the industry. TravelClick offers a comprehensive range of cloud-based solutions to hotels and other companies in the hospitality industry.

Early Years
Jonathan Cherins achieved a BA degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He also accomplished a MBA at Columbia School of Business New York, NY, where he achieved the Dean’s Honor List. 
He launched his career in sales by working at Miller Freeman Inc. in the sales department. Cherins excelled and soon received promotions. His final position was that of national sales manager for the company. During his tenure at Miller Freeman Inc., Cherins realized that he has a keen interest in the intricacies of marketing and corporate strategy. He joined the marketing team at Juno Online Services where he was influential in achieving unprecedented growth of the subscriber database and advertising revenue. At Juno, Cherins was also actively involved with securing funding from outside sources. As senior VP, product marketing, he worked with the CEO to develop and implement strategies that led to company advancement.
Following the years at Juno, Jonathan joined the data company Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. He had the opportunity to leverage his experience and strategic vision while holding several executive positions at the company. Cherins was able to make notable contributions to D&B in marketing and e-commerce while leading and developing high performing team members. His incisive restructuring directly contributed towards a notable increase in D&B revenue in his channels.

Career at Present
After nearly a decade of holding various positions at D&B, Jonathan Cherins moved away from the data software sector and plunged into the hospitality software arena. He started working at TravelClick, a company specializing in providing technological solutions for guest management, reservations, web and media to more than 30,000 hotels globally. His initial duties as CMO had him direct company branding, sales automation and public relation efforts. Subsequently, he was promoted to EVP of the Americas where he has responsibility for the sales and marketing initiatives of TravelClick in America, Canada and the Caribbean. 
Away from the Office
Jonathan Cherins was born in the New York suburb Brooklyn, and he was raised in New Jersey in Livingstone. He remained in New Jersey and currently lives in Maplewood with his family. He is happily married and has three children. Outside the office, Cherins loves spending time with his wife and children and enjoys exploring his cooking skills. To keep fit, he runs regularly and can also be found wielding clubs on the local golf course in pursuit of birdies and eagles.
